I love the tactile click. Feels sophisticated and gives shifts more meaning.
Btw carbon shifter looks insanely sexy in my G82 M4!
Great bang for your buck! I recently purchased the magnetic paddles for my Supra, they feel great and look great. Amazing customer service as well!
OK- let me just start off saying I think these things are great. It's a nice improvement over stock paddles. However, as these are currently they need some work. They're very "clicky". Too "clicky" really. I think the magnets are too big. They take more effort than you'd think to actuate them. On top of that, what's worse is the noise. They're LOUD. Too loud. So, I tinkered with my set. I modified this mod. I had to figure out a way to dampen these. I ended up using black electrical tape on both magnets. 2-3 layers of small pieces of tape completely transformed these. Now, without the loud CLANK and hard pull, they're quiet, quick and much slicker to use. They're really a joy to use now. I think if they used a smaller magnet and had a thin layer of something (plastic, rubber) between the magnets (like my mod) they'd be perfect out of the factory.
